Our driver will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast and take you to Hassan 2 Mosque, one of the world’s largest mosques, where you will have free time to admire the Islamic architecture within. Following that visit, we will travel by highway to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, where we will stop for lunch before touring the city’s most beautiful landmarks, including the Oudaya Kasbah, Hassan Tower, and Mohamed 5th Mausoleum. After you’ve had your fill of Rabat, we’ll drive you to Fes and drop you off at your hotel or riad.
Day 2 : fes / ifran / merzouga desert
We will take you up from your hotel or riad in Fes in the morning and begin our journey. Our first destination will be in Ifrane, also known as Morocco’s Switzerland. Morocco is an excellent location for winter sports. We will leave this location and travel to Azrou’s Cedar Forest, where you will have the opportunity to see and photograph wild monkeys.
We continue on our journey to Midelt, Morocco’s Apple Town. Its name comes from the fact that it is situated in the center of an apple-growing region.
We will continue after our lunch break, passing through the Al Hassan Addakhil Dam, which is utilized to keep water for agricultural purposes in the Ziz Valley and, of course, to offer flood protection (possibility for taking pictures). The panoramic vista of Ziz Valley is our next stop on this journey.
The valley offers a spectacular panorama of palm trees (the second largest in Morocco) nestled between steep rocks dating back to the Jurassic period. We’ll continue on to the Sahara desert of Merzouga/Erg Chebbi, where your camels will be waiting to take you on a memorable experience to your desert tent. There, you’ll be able to witness a stunning desert sunset as well as a star-studded sky. Before resting in the camp, you’ll enjoy listening to traditional Berber music after dinner.

Then we’ll go on to the top of a mountain, where you’ll be treated to a spectacular panoramic view of the Sand Dunes from above, before exploring the abandoned mines.
