Tour Program of : 4 days tour from Fes to Merzouga
Day 1 : fes _Azrou_ merzouga desert
Our Fes desert journey lasts 4 days. Breakfast will be served before leaving the Riad. The journey from Fes to Merzouga Sand Dunes will take around 8 hours, during which time we will pass over the Atlas Mountains and pass through a few settlements (Timhdit, Zaida, and Er-rich). We will make stops in locations such as Ifrane, a European city, and Azrou to take in the scenery of the cedar trees and the monkeys that live there. In Midelt, lunch will be served. Then we’ll continue on into the Ziz valley, which offers stunning views of palm trees. When we get at the sand dunes’ edge, the camels will be waiting for you to ride them to the Berber tent, where you will spend the night. In Berber, the first night in the desert
Day 2 : MERZOUGA desert tour
Today you will wake up early to watch the sunrise, then have breakfast before heading off to explore the desert in a 4×4 vehicle. You will have the opportunity to see and learn about nomadic families who live in tents. We’ll go to Khamlia’s “black village” to witness the Gnawa musicians and play spiritual music with them. After that, we’ll drive 40 kilometers to Rissani, a medieval Moroccan hamlet that was the birthplace of Morocco’s reigning family and the meeting point for caravans trading as far as Timbuktu in Mali. We’ll go to the traditional market there. Lunch will be served here, and it will be Berber Piza baked in the traditional oven. Return to the desert after that.
Day 3 : Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Ouarzazate
Early risers will be rewarded with a beautiful sunrise, complete with the color of the dunes and the movement of shadows. following a breakfast We’re going to Ouarzazate. Stop in Erfoud, which is known for its petrified marbles, for a visit to a marble fossil workshop. Continue on to the Todra Gorges, which are perfect for solo walking and exploring. After lunch, we’ll drive via Dades Valley and Rose Valley, where we’ll take a break. We continue on the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing past the Skoura palm grove, until we arrive in Ouarzazate, dubbed “Morocco’s Hollywood.” Dinner and breakfast are included in your hotel/riad stay.
Day 4 :Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
today our journey will start by shortstop providing to take some photographic shots of the Taourirt kasbah, then we will drive 30 minutes to reach one of the oldest Berber villages and World UNESCO heritage Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah where many international movies showed ( Game of throne, Gladiator… ) then continue through Tizi n’ tichka Pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains with numerous stops for bird-views and also for having breaks till we reach the red-city Marrakech. Overnight in your accommodation in Marrakech.
